Phill Joyner

Phil is a manufacturing and capital strategy leader with more than thirty years of experience scaling complex industrial operations and leading large-scale infrastructure projects. He specializes in bringing emerging technologies to scale, with deep expertise in first-of-a-kind industrial facilities, operational readiness, and capital deployment.

Phil previously served as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing and Supply Chain at Monolith Materials, where he led the construction and startup of a first-of-a-kind methane pyrolysis plant achieving a 95% reduction in CO2 emissions and helped advance a $2.1B expansion project. Earlier, he held senior leadership roles at Koch Fertilizer, where he led major operational improvements and served on multiple subsidiary boards advising on technical and operational strategy. Phil also has 20 years of pulp and paper plant leadership in roles at Georgia Pacific, International Paper and Jefferson Smurfit Corp.

 Phil currently advises investors and companies on large-scale capital projects, manufacturing strategy, and industrial expansion. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of South Carolina.
